1. Use your time alone in the house to spread little “I Love You’s” all around the house where only he will find them… in the refrigerator, in his favorite bag of snacks, in his dresser drawer, suit pocket, shower, shoes, briefcase. What the heck, put a note in tons of his clothes. Work at home moms are a creative bunch.  Use your creativity to place them in strategic places so he won't find them all at the same time. 4. Work at home moms can prepare special meals or goodies during the day, then hide them and serve later. People who don’t have work at home jobs rarely have the chance to get away with this since they must prepare the food while he is in the house to spoil the surprise.

5. Work at home moms, get out your pen. Write him a romantic letter. Free and simple, but so very precious. Tell him how much he means to you… how happy you are that you met him… and most of all, how you can’t possibly imagine your life without him. Thank him for every little thing you can think of. Make him feel really appreciated. Letters like that are saved for a lifetime. No over-priced gift store greeting card can match that.

6. For work at home moms whose spouse works at an office, is there any way he might be able to, uh, get away from his office for awhile to meet you, uh, at your home office, for, uh, a special private, uh, meeting? Tell him you need him at home because something broke or you don’t feel well or something. Alas, the surprise. You know what to do from there.

We work at home moms have many advantages. As work at home moms we can often be better wives and partners to our husband and enjoy more fulfilling, gratifying relationships. We also have less stress, more time for ourselves and for our families, we eat better, save money and help the environment. The extra romance is just the – oh so wonderful -- icing on the cake!
